1st Class Reunions has its roots in event planning, research and photography. Kandy and Byron Davidson are the owner/operators of 1st Class Reunions. Kandy brings over twenty years experience in event planning. She has worked in the corporate world with several companies as an event coordinator and trade show specialist. This experience has sharpened her skills in working with venues, entertainment, catering and dealing with people, in general, in a professional capacity. Kandy has also worked over the twenty years as a volunteer with many different organizations and groups. She has volunteered with such organizations as the Boys Club, photographic assistant, local political committees, her church, reunion committees, and with the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. One of her most prized pictures is of her holding one of two gold medals with one of the Olympic winners and his family. Kandy realizes and understands the importance of volunteers, such as reunion committees. Kandy also serves on the board of the National Association of Reunion Managers (NARM) as current President, previously as Vice President for two terms, and on their Website Committee. Byron brings over twenty years as a professional photographer specializing in weddings, portraits and reunion photography. Byron has been recognized nationally as a photographer and has several photos published on multiple web sites and national television. Byron also brings a background of working and directing volunteers. He brags that he liked one of his volunteers so much, he married her (Kandy)!! Byron also brings many years experience in research, which is extremely useful in locating alumni. Together, Kandy and Byron bring their varied experiences to 1st Class Reunions. Along with their professional expertise, Kandy and Byron pride themselves in "personal service". 1st Class Reunions likes to think of their reunion committees as friends, as well as clients. "Our goal is to help provide an evening with layers of memories for alumni to laugh and remember the good ole days." 1st Class Reunions, now entering it’s 8th season as a full service reunion management company will have managed over 200 high school class reunions. 1st Class Reunions has managed reunions over the entire state of Georgia (GA), as well as the Nashville area of Tennessee (TN), the State of South Carolina (SC), and this last year in the First Coast area of Florida (FL) to include Jacksonville, the Beaches, and St. Augustine areas.
